BRIDGE is not another initiative. It does not compete with MTSS.
BRIDGE is the leadership framework that supports MTSS, PBIS, SEL, UDL, a new reading initiative, or any other effort your district is working to implement. It helps determine whether that work becomes part of how your district operates or fades when priorities and leadership change.

Why BRIDGE Starts with Tier 1
Too often, MTSS conversations focus heavily on Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions while overlooking the strength of Tier 1.
Here's Why:
- When Tier 1 is not functioning well, core instruction varies from classroom to classroom.
- The environment doesn't feel safe or predictable.
- Students may not experience a sense of belonging.
- Leadership teams continue adding interventions without addressing the foundation underneath them.
BRIDGE reframes Tier 1 through three commitments: Proactive, Preventative, and Responsive.
